INDIVIDUAL IMPACTS Pictured to the right during an interview with Brain Injury Solutions’ staff, Steven shares a little about his experience: “ After my brain injuries I faced a number of challenges they were wide ranging, the bottom line is I felt lost, I didn’t feel valuable and I felt worthless and I had no idea what to do to fix that situation. STEVEN

Once I became a client of Brain Injury Solutions, they helped guide me through the steps that I could take to help claw my way back into some sense of normalcy. My case manager, Bridget, helped me set goals, she held me accountable. She was compassionate and really helped me move from a situation where I felt like I was aimlessly wandering to a place where I’m moving toward goals and feeling good about myself again.”

Terry, pictured to the left in the lift chair his case manager, Jessica, was able to find funding for. Living alone and struggling with mobility, Terry often faced frequent falls, sometimes resulting in injuries. His old furniture was too low, making it hard for him to get up safely. A big thanks goes to Jessica who was able to get him this amazing lift chair that not only helps him stand, but also comes with massage and heat functions for those days when his back is aching. It's truly a game-changer for him! Jessica had the honor of delivering and setting it up, and he was so moved. He shared how well he sleeps in it now, and how much he loves his new chair. It’s moments like these that remind us of why we do what we do!
