Impact Report 2024

HOW WE IMPACT

Goals Achieved: Case Management - Case managers meet with survivors of brain injury, and family, if available, in their homes to help identify and reach goals in their journey to recovery. Specialist Services (CSSS) provides intensive, one-on-one training on issues related to activities of daily living, increased independence, and community integration. All of our services are free and available to survivors of brain injury of all ages, regardless of income, within our service area: which is all of Southwest Virginia, and parts of Central and Southside Virginia. This includes survivors of TBI, stroke, cancer, and other acquired brain injuries. Community Connection (CLiC) is a telehealth program that brings survivors of brain injury together through user-friendly assistive technology and the internet to form small individual learning groups that provide support, education, social, and cognitive skill building.
