Special Recognitions The Chair asked President-Elect Glen to come to the podium to assist him with special recognitions while he took his place on the presentation stage. President-Elect Glen asked all Ruritan members with 70, 60 and 50 or more years of membership, to stand to be recognized. President Linward donned gloves and mask as he walked among them hand them his “eagle coins” as a token of appreciation , while congratulating them on their dedication. President Linward stated that Ruritan Forever is our life membership program. He asked all those who have received Ruritan Forever status during 2020-2021 to stand (these are listed in the Annual Report on page 13). He then asked for all members, who hold Ruritan Forever status, to stand to be recognized. President Linward stated that membership recruitment is the life blood for the local club and Ruritan National. He asked those who had earned the President’s Golden Key award in 2020 2021 to stand. He then asked for all members, who had earned the Golden Key award, to stand to be recognized. President Linward asked all members, in clubs winning Gold Community Service awards in 2020-2021, to stand to be recognized. President Linward recognized the following Outgoing Non-Board Committee Members: Martha Byrum, Erich Fronck, and Calvin Shelton who stood to be recognized.
