DARIA YEROMKA From 2005 to 2011, she studied at the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts majoring in Monumental Painting. In 2011, she became a lecturer at this department, and started PhD diploma in 2016. Since 2007, she has participated in street art festivals in Kharkiv under the patronage of the Kharkiv Municipal Gallery and on her own initiative. Since 2008, she has been actively traveling around Europe and the world, studying classical and contemporary art. Since 2012, she began to be interested in the direction of Public Art, which gave the basis for scientific and practical activities in this field. An important impetus for this was the desire to realize ideas outside of the box. You Are The Salt of the Earth This diptych is a symbol of the Ukrainian struggle for the native land, consecrated to the path of freedom from evil by the deaths of thousands of citizens. Now for many people, it is pain and anger, hatred, and a complete lack of understanding of how it will all end. But in order to win, it is important to preserve Love, to preserve the memory and the desire to live. Our land is our bread, soaked in sadness and joy - this is the salt of our native land called Ukraine.
