Looking ahead, Christiansburg High School is the next school to receive a building renovation. This school already has upgraded athletic fields and facilities. The current building needs to be larger to accommodate the student population, provide all teachers with their own work environment, and correct modifications in multiple places to create classrooms where walls do not reach the ceiling. The new academic building will provide more classrooms to address overcrowding, improved traffic patterns for students to traverse the building easily during class changes, and a focus on allowing natural light to enter the building. The project should be complete by September 2025. Looking ahead, Christiansburg High School is the next school to receive a building renovation.
