WINTER BEACH BLAST Dates/Times: Friday, February 20, from 7-9 p.m. Location: Christiansburg Recreation Center

Additional Information: Christiansburg Parks and Recreation is hosting its first Winter Beach Bash! Come out of the cold and enjoy a winter beach getaway at the Christiansburg Recreation Center. We will have music, refreshments, and other activities to make you feel at your beach paradise. SPRING KICKOFF FESTIVAL Dates/Times: Saturday, March 14, from 6-9 p.m. Location: Recreation Center (outside) Admission: FREE Additional Information: Join the party when the Town of Christiansburg hosts its Spring Kickoff Festival. We will have live mu sic, a bonfire, games, and many other activities. Local food trucks will be on hand to satisfy your food cravings! ALL ACTIVITIES AND GAMES ARE FREE! Please bring your ID if you would like to purchase beer or wine. This is an outdoor event. A limited number of tables and chairs will be available. However, attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to sit around the bonfire and enjoy the evening. EGG-STREME EASTER EGG PARTY

Additional Information: Easter egg hunts aren’t just for kids anymore! This egg hunt is sure to be a wild time! Can you find Eas ter eggs in the dark? If you can, you could win prizes! Participants must have a flashlight to participate. Please register online or at the Rec Center. We ask that each participant bring a canned food item to be donated to a local food pantry. 10:15 a.m. ages 6-8 10:30 a.m. ages 9-12 10:45 a.m. ages under 3 Christiansburg Parks & Recreation and the Kiwanis Club of Christiansburg host the Great Christiansburg Easter Egg Hunt each March/April for children ages 12 and under. Children bring their own baskets and search for surprises the Easter Bunny has left behind! Children are divided into age groups for the hunts. You can only hunt in your age group; you cannot go up or down an age group. Please arrive early to claim your spot in your hunt area. The hunts will start at the times above, and you can only hunt in your age group (cannot go up or down an age group). The Easter Bunny also stops by each year to take photos! EARTH FEST Dates/Times: Saturday, April 25, from 12-8 p.m. Location: Christiansburg Huckleberry Park Additional Information: Our Earth Fest will be an Earth Day celebration filled with activities that target all ages and abilities. The goal of this event is to raise awareness of our natural surroundings in our community. This event will include interactive activities, local vendors, food trucks, local music, and more!
