2. In the event of a fire, if a fire extinguisher can be used safely to minimize the flames, you may do so. However, do not put yourself in personal danger.
3. Notify Dr. Beamer, if she is not on site.
4. Remove all animals from cages and runs to outside the facility, if this can be done without endangering yourself.
5. If possible and appropriate, wet animals down
6. Do not put fighting dogs together, if possible to separate. (Use emergency leashes, if possible.)
7. Remove cats (and small dogs), place in carriers and place into employee vehicles.
8. Turn off main power switch; turn off oxygen tanks; shut off air conditioners, blowers, and fans, if time permits without endangering self or others.
9. Remember the health and safety of all people takes precedence over our animals and facility
