Ruritan National Annual Report 2023-2024

The Chair asked President-Elect Robin Davenport to help present the next awards. President-Robin Davenport asked Youth Committee Chair David Hogan to join him on stage to recognize the 2023 Rudy Youth, Ruri-Teen of the Year. 2023 Rudy Youth of the Year – Dalton Hudson (Butler Club, TN) 2023 Ruri-teen of the Year – Kayla Ramby (Chattanooga Central High School, Cherokee District, TN) 2023 Ruritan of the Year - Eddie Kinser (Butler Club, Tennessean District, TN) National Secretary Juliann Poff made final announcements and at 9:27 am, the Chair declared the meeting in recess until 8:30 am on Saturday. Gary Taylor welcomed everyone. National Secretary Juliann Poff presented the announcements. Gary Taylor and Jimmy Bristow recognized those who assisted with the planning of the convention and all of those who attended the convention. They introduced President Mike, who was escorted in by the 2 nd year directors Roger Davis, Lynn Fillers, Cassandra Flanagan, Zack McCallie, Perry Marshman, Donna Poulton, and Ronnie Reid. President Michael welcomed everyone and asked National Secretary Juliann Poff to give the second report of the Credentials Committee. National Secretary Juliann Poff reported as of Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 8:45 am, there were: Pre-Registered 423 Walk-ins 18 Cancellations 13 Total Registered 428 Certified Delegates 411 Juliann thanked Sandra Lowe, Von Taylor, Fran Bristow, Anne Hedgepath, Linda Broadwater and staff Craig Whitt, Diane Lawson. Kory Wirt, Bessie McCormick and Crystal Andrews for assisting with the registration and credentials. Mr. President, on behalf of the Credentials Committee, I move for the adoption of this credentials report. The Chair asked if there were any questions. Hearing none, all those in favor of adopting the Credentials Report, say “Aye.” Those opposed, say “No.” The ayes have it and the Credentials Report is adopted.
