Laura J. Pynn Scholarship Fund (CFNRV Board of Directors) Provides scholarships to New River Valley students with demonstrated financial need.

Marcus Allen Ford Memorial Scholarship Fund (Waverly & Donna Ford) Provides scholarships to graduating high school students from Christiansburg High School to attend any two- or four-year college or university in Virginia. Students should exemplify the qualities of Marcus Allen Ford including love and family, a friend to all, exceptional academic abilities, outstanding leadership, and good sportsmanship in the home, at school, and on the playing field. Mary Ann King Peters Memorial Scholarship Fund (Karen Hale & Leesa Meador) Provides scholarships to graduating high school students team demonstrating integrity of character, initiative, leadership, good sportsmanship, being a team player, and love of basketball. on the Floyd County High School women’s basketball

Muffo Family Scholarship Fund Provides scholarships to graduating high school students, or other, nontraditional students residing in the New River Valley to attend any two- or four-year college, university, trade, or technical school.

Lineweaver Family Scholarship Fund Provides scholarships to

students studying Dairy Science at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, who have demonstrated financial need and academic performance sufficient to progress through the undergraduate program. Living4Bri Scholarship Fund (Tracey Linkous & Paulette Wiley Dawson) Provides scholarships to students from Christiansburg High School to pursue a degree in nursing.

Plummer Scholarship Fund

Fund Spotlight: Earl Vest & Mamie Phillips Vest Scholarship Established in 2020, this fund supports Floyd County students and celebrates the legacies of Earl and Mamie, both Floyd natives and high-school sweethearts. Earl worked for Norfolk & Western Railway Company for 37 years before retiring to work his family cattle farm. Mamie had a long and successful career in advertising and graphic design, and she served as a legislative aide in both the Virginia Senate and House of Delegates, among other state and regional government roles. To date, the scholarship has supported nine Floyd County high school graduates pursuing a college degree.
