ADDITIONAL OFFENCES

The principal will administer other forms of discipline (e.g. taking away parking permit privilege, or may refer to other agencies.)

THREATS AGAINST EMPLOYEES, STUDENTS, OR OTHER PERSONS (JFC-R 06/17, JGD/JGE 6/18) A. Definition: Any unwelcome verbal, “written” and/or physical presence threat for the purpose of extortion or to cause emotional stress, kill, or do serious harm to any employee, student, or other persons. This may also include the act of stalking of an individual by another person. B. General: A student shall not make a verbal, or “written” threat (including by electronic means) to kill or do serious harm to any employee, student, or other person while on school property, on a school bus or at any school sponsored activity. Neither shall a student make a physical presence threat to any employee, student or other person while on school property, a school bus, or at a school sponsored activity. THIRD OFFENSE

TRESPASSING/UNAUTHORIZED PRESENCE (JFC-R 06/17, JGD/JGE 6/18) A. Definition: A person, including students who have been suspended or expelled are prohibited from being present on school property or using school facilities without proper authority and/or permission. B. General: Persons whose presence on school property is unauthorized between 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m. will be considered trespassers. Students who attend the Floyd County Public Schools and are on school property at times when prohibited will be considered trespassers. Any students, to include students who are suspended or expelled, caught trespassing will be reported to the legal authorities for trespassing and will be subject to school discipline.
