Challenge 4:

Two positive whole numbers add to 62. The second number is 2 more than 3 times the first. What are the two numbers?

Challenge 5:

Prove that the system of three equations log x y = z, log y z = x , log z x = y has no real solution.

Challenge 6: For a given a > 0, determine the values of b and c for which the equation a cos 2 x + b cos x + c = 0 has two unique solutions x in the interval [0, ( π/2)].
