Approved March 25, 2022 - Page 2 Stan Turner: By the direction of the committee, I move for the adoption of the convention program, including the official agenda on pages 31-37, and the amendment just announced. The committee further moves that any names printed in the program be allowed to be substituted by The Chair during the business meetings with no amendments being necessary. The Chair restated the motion and asked the delegates if there was any discussion. Hearing none, The Chair asked all those in favor to say “Aye.” All opposed say “NO.” The Chair declared the motion adopted. The Chair introduced Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce & Convention and Visitors Bureau Executive Vice President of Group Sales Bob Harris, who welcomed attendees to Myrtle Beach. The Chair called upon Past National President, Millard Thacker, Chair of the Nominating Committee, for his report. Committee Chair Millard, on behalf of the Nominating Committee, presented nominees for each National office. A listing of nominees known at the time of printing appears on pages 71 of the convention program booklet. Committee Chair Millard reported that all candidates presented by the committee today have been certified by the committee. He also thanked his committee members, 2015 National President, Bobby Burton, and Past National Director, Frank Kinsey, Past National Director, Gary Olinger, and Past National Director, Danny Phillips, for their work on the committee. A copy of the committee’s report is on file at the national office. Committee Chair Millard announced Thomas Josh Adams (VA) and Larry Blount (PA) are nominated for Foundation Trustee. The Chair opened the floor for additional nominations for Foundation Trustee. The Chair asked if there were any additional nominations from the floor. Hearing none, the Chair declared the nominations for Foundation Trustee closed. Committee Chair Millard announced the nominations for National Director are Roger A. Davis (VA), Lynn Fillers (TN), Zachary McCallie (TN), Perry Marshman (VA), Donna Jo Poulton (SC), R. Scott Reed (VA), Ronnie L. Reid (NC), and Howard Tanner (IL) . The Chair asked if there were any further nominations for National Director. Past National Director, Joe Hulver, of the Stonewall District Club in the Rappahannock District, rose to nominate Cassandra Flanagan (WV) for National Director. Hearing no further nominations, The Chair declared the nominations for National Director closed. Committee Chair Millard announced the nominations for the one-year unexpired term of National Director is Dennis Bagnell (VA). The Chair opened the floor for additional nominations for the one-year unexpired term of National Director. The Chair asked if there were any additional nominations from the floor. Hearing none, the Chair declared the nominations for the one-year unexpired term of National Director closed.
