National Convention 2022

Because of the pandemic in 2020 and 2021, travel was limited, but we commend all Ruritans members for taking full advantage of virtual communication technology to unite our clubs and communities. As the world’s leading community service organization, we feel a responsibility to use this time of uncertainty to think forward and become stronger. knows when a storm is approaching long before it breaks?

“The eagle will fly to some high spot and wait for the winds to come.

When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, the eagle is SOARING above it. When the storm of life came upon us, like the eagle, Ruritans rose above and rode the winds of the storm that brought COVID-19, sickness, fear, failure, and disappointment into our lives. And like the eagle the Ruritan National Organization will remain resilient and will SOAR in 2022 and on into the future.” Coming Together is the Beginning.
