A cafeteria area is provided for you to use during meal periods. No employee may consume food or beverages (except in container with secure lid) in production areas. Employees on meal breaks should not interfere with other employees who are continuing to work.

REST PERIODS

Hourly and nonexempt employees (those covered by the minimum wage and overtime requirements of the Fair Labor Standards Act) will receive breaks as described below.

Breaks may not be taken during the first (1) hour or last (1) hour of the work shift without permission from the supervisor, and/or Manager.

Supervisor/Managers are responsible for scheduling the time for nonexempt hourly employees’ rest breaks and will consider the workload and the nature of the job performed. Whenever necessary, the frequency and time of rest periods may be changed due to business needs and safety requirements. Time spent on rest breaks will be compensated as working time, and you are not required to clock out and in on your timecards. However, you are expected to be punctual in starting and ending your breaks; failure will result in corrective action. Rest breaks may be taken in the designated smoking/break areas or cafeteria. You are not permitted to leave Company premises during this period. Food or beverages (except in a container with a secure lid) are always prohibited in the work are, including during rest breaks. Please do not interfere with other employees who are continuing to work. Team Members will be entitled to (40) minute breaks per day on 8-hour shifts this time includes 30-minute lunch break. Team Members will be entitled (50) minute breaks per day on 10-hour shifts this time includes 30-minute lunch break. Team Members will be entitled (60) minute breaks per day on 12-hour shifts this time includes 30-minute lunch break.

OVERTIME POLICY

Due to the cyclical nature of the business and our customers’ needs , overtime hours may be necessary. From time to time, you may be asked to work longer than your normal scheduled shift, this includes canceling shift model. Your supervisor will give you as much advance notice as possible when extra work is required. Supervisors/Managers will attempt to fill overtime needs with volunteers. However, the Company reserves the right to require any employee to work overtime as necessary to meet customer requirements.
