VARVARA EVGLEVSKA I am a scenographer, a scenic artist.

From a very young age, I watched my father and grandfather working with a film director and saw how the shows in the theater were created. My grandfather and grandmother were both producers, and they currently manage their own contemporary theater, so my family has a long-lasting history connected to the arts. My main areas of interest are the artistic conception of the stage, scenography, and theater plays - the perspectives of the directors, artists, and the combined efforts of the entire cast. My mother is trained in both performing arts and interior & exterior design. Since I was a little child, she has ingrained in me a love of painting. In 2020-21, I worked on the creation of urban sculptures for the Kharkiv Fantasy Park, and an exhibition based on my design is still on display there. For this, I received a gift from Kharkiv Mayor I. Terekhov, which bears my signature, as well as the project winner’s certificate. In 2021, I enrolled in the scenography department at Kharkiv Higher Art College. In general, I enjoy going to the theater, and prior to the war in Ukraine, I frequented nearly all of the city’s theaters. Drawing for the theater is my forte, and I hope to have a vision of what a modern theater should look like.
