ANNA KOTLIARENKO
Art Field Ukrainian Art Rock is a more ethnic music due to the inclusion of experimental influences of national instruments. The work is made in a decorative style and is conditionally divided into two parts. The left part depicts a symbolic ancient Ukrainian folk stringed instrument - the bandura. A melody in the form of a series of notes flows from its strings like a river. The bandura is accompanied by a keyboard instrument, which plays a more important role in art rock. Accordingly, the right part of the work is dedicated to nature, depicting the ancient symbols and amulets of Ukraine: the sun, the earth, and the cross - protectors from misfortune. It is from this symbolic division of the work the name “Art Field” emerged. As for the color palette of the ornamental and decorative composition, it is expressive and contrasting, reflecting the characteristic colors of Ukrainian culture.
