Riley Campbell Riley Campbell is the son of Bluefield University alumna, Marland Campbell. He is nine years old, and in the 3rd grade in South Carolina. Riley enjoys playing sports, eating pizza, reading comics, and telling jokes. He is a fan of the Virginia Tech Homies. He aspires to be an engi neer “who designs roller coasters” when he grows up. Tegan Campbell Tegan Campbell is the daughter of Bluefield University alumna, Marland Campbell. She is ten years old, and in the 4th grade in South Carolina. Tegan enjoys playing sports, caring for her three dogs, and creating art. She dreams of being a veterinarian when she grows up. Greg Clary Greg Clary is a retired college professor who was born and raised in Tur key Creek, WV, and now lives in the Pennsylvania Wilds. Emily Cook Emily Cook lives in Athens, WV with her husband, daughter, and pug, and she enjoys reading, cooking, and trying to learn TikTok dances. Nancy Davis Nancy Davis lives in Max Meadows, Va. 24360 and has won four awards for prose and one for photography. Cecile Dixon Cecile Dixon is a retired nurse who has returned to her beloved Kentucky mountains to write and raise goats. Gene Douglas Dunford Gene Douglas Dunford is an eight-year-old native of Ivanhoe, Virginia. He enjoys reminiscing about the good old days in his Appalachian home town. He is an avid gardener, reader, and nature enthusiast. Jennie Farmer Jennie Farmer is a nature lover. CJ Farnsworth CJ Farnsworth is a poet residing in WV and a graduate of the Vermont College of Fine Arts MFA Program; her poems have appeared in print and online publications, including Rattle, Kenning, Kestrel, Women Speak, Poetry Quarterly, Mountain Scribes, the Community College Humanities Review Journal , and others. She is a 2020 Pushcart Prize nominee.
