Intro to Fitness Swimming / Pre-Masters Are you interested in getting into a fitness swimming routine, but don’t know where or how to start? Do you want to build your endurance in the pool? Are you looking to better your competitive strokes or learn new strokes? Then Intro to Fitness Swimming is for you. A coach will provide a workout along with stroke and turn analysis. U.S. Masters Swimming at Christiansburg Aquatic Center U.S. Masters Swimming is open to adult (18+) swimmers of all levels, including triathletes, open water swimmers and anyone wanting to improve fitness through swimming. Workouts are designed to accommodate the ability levels and goals of all participants. All workouts will incorporate drills and stroke work along with kicking, pulling, and training various energy systems. Coach Judy Wolfe will be on deck to guide swimmers through practices and assist with stroke technique. She relocated from the Boston area in 2016 and brings the following experience: • College swim coach for 17 years • Masters swim coach for 10+ years • American Red Cross Instructor Trainer 30+ years, including experience working with people of all abilities and ages Though not required, to register with US Masters, please visit www.usms.org *Drop in fee $10 per workout
