Green Beans (Mcvane Lobio)

Ingredients: 4 lb. cans Italian green beans 3 bell Peppers, red, orange and yellow, cubed 2 medium onions, chopped 1 tsp. black pepper 1 tsp. ground savory/Qondari 1/4 cup oil Fresh Parsley chopped, added to taste Fresh Cilantro chopped, added to taste 2-3 cloves of garlic Salt to taste

Instructions: Chop onions and sauté them in the oil until they are just beginning to turn golden. Add cubed bell pepper and sauté them until softened. Drain most of the liquid from the green beans and add to the onion and pepper mix. Sautee them a little longer and add the savory, black pepper, and salt to taste. Add chopped parsley and cilantro to taste. Remove from heat and serve warm.

Broccoli Italiano

Ingredients: 1 head broccoli, washed and cut in florets, or frozen 2-3 tbsps. butter or olive oils or cooking oil 1/2-1 cup onions, chopped finely 1 clove garlic, minced 1/4 cup Romano-parmesan cheese or any combination, grated Fresh ground pepper to taste

Fresh Parsley chopped, added to taste Fresh Cilantro chopped, added to taste Salt to taste

Instructions: While steaming or cooking broccoli by your favorite method, sauté onions until nearly soft. Add garlic and continue cooking until done. Drain broccoli and move to serving dish. Pour onions and garlic over broccoli, add grated cheese, toss gently, sprinkle with the black pepper and serve immediately.
