After the Friday morning business session, retired Colonel Ward Nickish will be our veterans speaker. Colonel Nickish’s last assignment was the Director of
Casualty and Memorial Affairs for the US Army. While in this position he supervised the US Army’s Central Identification Laboratory – Hawaii, which conducted the search, recovery, identification, and repatriation of the soldiers, of all military services, whose bodies were never recovered from all prior wars and conflicts. He is a member of the Gainesville Ruritan Club. If you are attending the Friday Lunch

Liberty is Liberty University’s flagship traveling music group. Since 1975, this team has represented Liberty University on some of the nation’s most prestigious platforms. The 2019 banquet entertainment is Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. who is the soul and Sinatra-singing season six winner of NBC TV’s “America’s Got Talent.” The former car washer’s Columbia Records debut album produced by Grammy winner Steve Tyrell
spent six weeks at #1 on the Billboard Jazz chart. Landau’s follow-up holiday CD “Christmas Made For Two” raised thousands for the Children’s Home Society of West Virginia and received nationwide airplay including Sirius/ XM’s “Holly” channel. Landau’s self- titled third album was recorded at the famed Capitol Records studios in Hol- lywood, CA where Sinatra recorded some of his signature classics.
