The Chair opened the floor for additional nominations for National Director. Hearing none, nominations were declared closed for the National Director. Nominating Committee Chair Linward Hedgspeth announced the nominees for National Treasurer are:

The Chair opened the floor for additional nominations for National Treasurer. Hearing none, nominations were declared closed for National Treasurer. Nominating Committee Chair Linward Hedgspeth announced the nominee for National Secretary is:

Juliann Poff (VA)

The Chair opened the floor for additional nominations for National Secretary. Hearing none, nominations were declared closed for National Secretary. Nominating Committee Chair Linward Hedgspeth announced the nominees for National President-Elect are:

Gary Swink (VA) David Thompson (VA)

The Chair opened the floor for additional nominations for National President-Elect. Hearing none, nominations were declared closed for National President-Elect. Candidates nominated for each position were allowed to speak to the delegates for up to two minutes each. The Chair reminded attendees that delegate certification is open today until 4:00 p.m. It will open again in the morning from 7:00 am-8:00 am. Anyone not certified must be certified by 8:00am on Saturday to be able to vote. All delegates who have registered by 4:00pm Friday with an email address will receive a link to cast their ballot electronically. If you feel uncomfortable voting electronically, paper Scantron ballots are available in the Embassy Ballroom prior to voting. Delegates who register Saturday morning, must vote by paper ballot. Delegates have a WHITE name badge. Non-delegates have a BLUE name badge. Only delegates will be allowed to vote. The Chair recognized Ron Reid, Bylaws Committee Chair, and committee members to address and answer any questions concerning the bylaws that the delegates will be voting on. The ballot items were addressed in order.
