District Size District/Area Name Growth Rate Small – 500 members or less Great Plains 9.76% Medium – 501-1000 members Southwest Virginia 17.58% Large – 1000+ members Dan River 10.88% Large – 1000+ Rockingham 2.17% TOP RECRUITER The Chair presented the Top Recruiter Award in a Calendar Year. The Top Recruiter receives one free Ruritan National Convention registration. President Mike congratulated Starr Lynn Birx who recruited 9 members. COMMUNICATIONS AWARDS The 2023 Printed Club Newsletter Award - Sandy Run Club The 2023 Electronic Club Newsletter Award - Pineview Club The 2023 Website Award - Johnsonville Club The Chair asked President-Elect Robin to come to the podium and presented him with a plaque thanking him for his service this year. Thank you, Robin! RURITAN NATIONAL FOUNDATION AWARDS The Chair asked 2023 Foundation President Phillip Bradshaw to come to the stage to present the Foundation awards. Philip announced that Foundation weekend will be held June 21-22, 2024, in Hillsville, VA. Philip also announced that $10,000 was raised between the silent and live auctions.
