Importing Images and Text

• Objective: • Learn to add your own external images and supporting text to the report • Exercise: Create “EX.16 Geospatial Library Summary ” • Create a new report titled, “EX.16 Geospatial Library Summary ” • Report will output: • The description of the Geospatial Library component • An imported graphic image of the Geospatial Library • The Mission statement of the Geospatial Library • Hint: in the Entities band use the “Entity” field in the Detail Report Tasks (in the caret) to set the entity to the “Geospatial Library” Component entity

Build up the New Report Build up the document as we’ve learned in the class, up to the Entities band. 1. Select the Component folder in the Folders band 2. Select the caret on “entitiesReportBand1” and set the entity to the “Geospatial Library” component 3. Insert labels, for title, “1.0 Description” section, and “2.0 Mission Statement” sections 4. Insert labels, bind to the entity, and change the display to show the

description and mission statement attributes in the appropriate section
