25. Worship Him

Shepherds & Wise men: Matt. 2:2, “Where is he that is b orn King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.” Believers Today: John 4:23- 24, “ But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” Unbelievers who do not know Him may come to worship Him: Acts 17:23, “For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.” The Angels Response to Jesus' Birth: Heb 1:6, “And again, when he brings in the first born into the world, he says, And let all the angels of God worship him.” Christ is worshipped in Heaven: Rev. 4:10, “The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne” His power demands worship: Rev. 14:7, “Saying with a lo ud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.” The only One who must be worshipped: Rev. 19:10, “And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Worship Christ: God Incarnate, Savior, Lord and King: Acts 4:12, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
