Meditation: The feasts of the Old Testament pictured the Christ of the New Testament. They were symbolic celebrations depicting aspects of God’s entrances into the world on behalf of mankind. What does Jesus bring to our tabernacle of faith when we allow Him entrance?  Refreshment (John 7:37) An invitation to drink of the ever-flowing Holy Spirit.  Rejoicing (John 8:12; Isaiah 9) A proclamation of joy in the light of lights.  Rest (John 9:14; Matthew 11:28) An assurance for all to rest in His powerful might.

Feasting on the riches of His grace, Resting ‘neath His shelt’ring wing, Always looking on His smiling face, That is why I shout and sing. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus
