The Life Sciences Educational Trailer, sponsored by the Patrick County Cooperative Extension Service, will be located near the animal barn and available for the public. The Virginia 4-H Mobile Life Sciences Learning Lab is a 43-foot interactive, traveling classroom on wheels created by the Virginia Tech College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS). Display your animals at the fair and receive a stipend as a thank-you from Rotary! Contact Wayne Kirkpatrick at wynbtyk@embarqmail.com or 540-570-3511 . Small animals should arrive at the barn on Tuesday, Sept. 15th between 2–4 PM. Bring your animals, marked food for the week, and we’ll provide cages/pens (4’x8’ with mesh tops) on a first come, first-served basis. Pasture animals should arrive at the barn between 2–4 PM on Friday, September 18th and /or Saturday, September 19.
