Montgomery County Public Schools serve over 10,000 students in grades pre-k through 12 in 19 different schools and fosters a nurturing environment for learning with positive relationships and creative outputs. MCPS uses engagement, encouragement, and empowerment so every student graduates career and college ready and becomes a productive, responsible citizen. MCPS accomplishes this mission through the implementation of the model for effective instruction and a strategic plan. MCPS school district has received recognition for its exceptional performance, and places a strong emphasis on actively involving students in the learning process and establishing strong connections with them, in order to deliver effective and suitable instruction.
