Renumbering Requirements Numbering requirements (and other entities) makes it easier to see the structure 1. In the Project Explorer panel, select the Requirements Group Class 2. Select requirement group “Operational Requirement”

3. Select Renumber from the ribbon (or right ‐ click and select Renumber from the context menu) 4. Enter new number “R.1” 5. Click OK Renumbering assigns hierarchical numbers down the entire descendant tree of the selected entity The Requirement Group class uses grouped by as the parent ‐ child relation. The parent ‐ child relation is uniquely defined for each class.
