Acknowledgments I want to say a big thank you to family members, friends, church family, and the community who have supported me. Pulaski, Virginia has been a great place for me to grow up, be educated, and employed. I also want to say a big thank you to Carolyn Turner for taking the time to illustrate this book. I am forever grateful.

I like to touch bushes and leaves on a tree.

I once saw a bee and it sure frightened me.

I love to pet dogs and sometimes cats.

Some of them were not happy with that.

I like giving fist pumps, high fives, and handshakes.

When I get too close to people's personal space, I have to put on the brakes.

I used to forget to hold the door for people.

I later learned that it was great manners in case they were feeble.

Dressing like others is one thing I love to do.

It is something that I never outgrew.

I have studied and have learned a great deal.

B ut , there is more to learn is how I feel.
