HIRING VIRGINIA VETERANS MAKES GOOD BUSINESS SENSE
The Virginia Values Veterans (V3) Program partners with more than 1,000 partner employers across the Commonwealth committed to hiring veterans. Since 2012, these employers have hired more than 33,000 Virginia veterans. We salute our partner employers who have made this program such a success!

Introduction It is my distinct privilege as a Virginian
and veteran to share with you In Service to Our Country .
Enclosed is a brief summary of the military service rendered by Virginia officials in the Executive and Legislative branches of our state government.
Over 700,000
Virginians have worn the cloth of
our Nation. We share a strong sense of duty to serve our veterans and their families as well as they have served us. On behalf of the Virginia Department of Veterans Services, the Commonwealth, and the Nation, I extend my sincere gratitude to these public servants for their military service and for their continued daily work to ensure that Virginia is the most veteran-friendly state in the Nation.
John Maxwell Commissioner, Virginia Department of Veterans Services

In Service to Our Country
The first edition of this special publication was over a decade ago. In 2018 the third edition was published and now this fourth edition is completed in 2020. None of these would have been possible without the support of the staff of the Virginia Department of Veterans Services, an agency led by veterans whom we salute for their service to these United States and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
