The Requirements Capture Approach

• GOAL: Source requirements in single, verifiable statements. (Need to break-up composite requirement statements.) • Record source requirement statement in the Description attribute of a REQUIREMENT. • Obtain traceability between source document and first level REQUIREMENT with documents/documented by relationship pair. • Obtain traceability between parent REQUIREMENT and child REQUIREMENT with the refines/refined by relationship pair.
