CHS FOOTBALL CAMP This camp is instructed by the staff and players of the CHS Football program. Come out and learn the fundamental skills needed, to be at your best on the gridiron. As part of the camp, a camp t-shirt is provided. Please bring a water bottle and other necessary equipment with you. Registration Dates Eligibility Date Time Location Fees April 6 - June 12 Ages 8-15 June 16-18 6:00p-7:30p CHS Football Field $30.00 MIKE YOUNG BASKETBALL CAMP This camp is instructed by the Virginia Tech Men’s Basketball team and staff. They will instruct all participants on the funda mentals of the game of basketball through drills and games. Players are also split up into teams for some competitive action as well. She will also have some assistance from some other 4H personnel. This will be a great way to learn the fundamentals of archery. Details covered include safety, correct equipment usage, proper form, etc. Equipment will be provided, but participants are welcome to use their own if they have it. Registration Dates Eligibility Date Time Location Fees May 4 - June 26 Ages 8 – 15 June 30-July 2 10:00am-12noon Izaak Walton $20.00 “SIZZLING SUMMER” NERF CHALLENGE This event will test your skills in both accuracy and stealth as you and your teammates work to capture the opponent’s flags. You will be split up into teams of 5, for the competition. You may bring one of your own nerf blasters with you. We will also have some provided if you don’t have one and would like to participate. She has been one of our recreation league coaches as well as an AAU coach. She also has experience in coaching high school and some college. This will be a great fundamental clinic for your child. Please bring a ball and any other necessary equipment with you.
