Christiansburg Aquatic Center Fall 2022 Activity Guide

NEW RIVER DIVING New River Diving (NRD) is a year-round club that teaches the safety and fundamentals of diving while developing body awareness, coordination, and self-confidence. NRD offers both recreational and competitive paths for athletes dependent on their personal goals, level of commitment, and skill level. Recreational Diving The recreational side of NRD is focused on safety. Our goal is to progress athletes at their own speed in a safe and controlled environment so that they can explore their limits in the sport and gain the confidence to push outside their comfort zone, through the fear zone, and into the learning and growth zone. NRD offers three groups primarily based on grade - Beginner Lessons(1st-5th), Middle School Lessons(6th-8th), and High School Lessons(9th-12th).
