CHRISTIANSBURG FARMERS MARKET Dates/Times: Thursdays May 18 - October 26 from 3-7 p.m. Location: Christiansburg Recreation Center Parking Lot Admission: FREE

Additional Information: The Christiansburg Farmers Market features local farmers and vendors each Thursday. Seasonal pro duce, plants, fresh baked goods, crafts, fresh flowers, and handmade jewelry are some of the items available for purchase. Items for purchase vary week-to-week. Check our Facebook page for details about weekly themes, prizes, vendors, and live music. ROCKIN’ MAIN CONCERT SERIES Dates/Times: Saturday, October 14 from 5-9 p.m. Location: E. Main Street and Roanoke Street Admission: FREE Additional Information: Come enjoy a variety of foods from food trucks from across SW Virginia! Beer and wine will be available for purchase. We’ll start the evening with rising country music singer/songwriter star Drew Pace taking the stage at 5 p.m. Following Drew Pace’s performance, Travis Reigh will take the stage at 7 p.m. With a captivating blend of country, folk, and rock, Travis Reigh fills a mu sical void you didn’t know you had! GETTING SCARY ON THE HUCKLEBERRY 5K RACE AND TRUCK OR TREAT Additional Information: Race participants will begin and end the 5K at the Christiansburg’ Recreation Center. After the race, par ticipants can enjoy free breakfast prepared by Parks and Recreation staff and reunite with their children for the annual Truck or Treat event. Trucks from Christiansburg Fire, Police, Rescue, Public Works, and others set up in the back-parking lot of the Recre ation Center for kids and kids at heart to look at and touch. CALLS FROM THE NORTH POLE Ages: 8 and younger Date/Times: December 4 and December 5 starting at 5:30 p.m. Registration Ends: Monday, November 27 at 5 p.m. Additional Information: The Christiansburg Parks and Recreation Department has arranged for Santa to personally call children 8 years old and younger on December 4. For Santa to call, you need to complete a form at the Christiansburg Recreation Center or online at www.christiansburg.org/recreation and return it by 5 p.m. Monday, November 27. Santa may need more time to call all the children so if you do not receive a call on December 4, you will be called on December 5. Please keep your phone line open. CHRISTIANSBURG CHRISTMAS ON MAIN: CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING, CHRISTMAS PARADE, Dates/Times: Saturday, October 28 at 9 a.m. Location: Christiansburg Recreation Center Fee: $30 if postmarked by 10/13/23, $35 after 10/13/23 Additional Information: Each December, the Town holds its annual Christmas at the Market, Tree Lighting Ceremony, and Christ mas Parade. Christmas at the Market begins at 5 p.m. on Hickok Street. You’ll find a variety of vendors selling the perfect gifts for Christmas. The Tree Lighting Ceremony takes place shortly before 7 p.m. at the Square, with the Christmas Parade immediately following. Come be a vendor with us as the Christiansburg Farmers Market celebrates Christmas. We would love to have you as a vendor to help bring the Christmas Spirit to our Christmas at the Market.
