THE FOUNDATION OF HEALTH SERVICES OF THE VIRGINIAS, INC. FUND To provide scholarship assistance to students pursuing training in nursing, radiology technology or other healthcare fields. THE HEBREW CEMETERY FUND To provide funding for the maintenance of the Hebrew Cemetery in Pocahontas, VA. THE ED AND DORIS HOOKER AMERICAN HISTORY FUND This fund provides a financial award to a graduating senior at River View High School and Mount View High School who demonstrates knowledge of American History and scores 90 or above on the Ed and Doris Hooker American History test. THE JOETTA COLLINS HOOKER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND This fund supports graduating seniors of Mount View High School and River View High School who plan to major in Education in college. THE MAX L. AND VIRGINIA S. KAMMER FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP FUND To support graduating seniors who plan to attend WVU, from a List of 18 Degrees and Curricula. THE JUDGE JEROME AND HILDA R. KATZ MEMORIAL FUND Income from this Fund will be used to benefit the youth of our area. THE KENDRICK SCHOLARSHIP FUND To provide scholarship assistance to student athletes at Concord University. THE KENDRICK BLUEFIELD STATE UNIVERSITY FUND To provide scholarship assistance to student athletes at Bluefield State University. THE KEN AND RICK KENDRICK SCHOLARSHIP FUND To provide assistance to seniors of Princeton Senior High School who will be studying Computer Science or Technology, or if there are no eligible applicants in those fields, Business majors will be considered. THE OTIS “SLIM” KIDD SCHOLARSHIP FUND This fund provides scholarship assistance to graduating seniors of high schools in Mercer, McDowell, Tazewell and Bland counties. THE RALPH H. AND SHIRLEY D. KISER FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP FUND This fund provides scholarship assistance to students at Bluefield University in the Ministerial program. THE DR. DAVID A. KOVACH FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP FUND To provide scholarship assistance to graduating seniors and/or graduates of Graham High School. THE JANIE POTEET LIGHT FUND FOR ART STUDIES This Fund seeks to support programs and projects that encourage artistic ambitions. THE WILLIAM “BILL” LINEBERRY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND This fund was established in memory of Bill Lineberry to provide scholarships to graduating seniors who will study Automotive Technology. THE ALEX B. MAHOOD, JR. SCHOLARSHIP FUND This fund will provide assistance to seniors from Bluefield High School and Graham High School. THE SUE MANDEVILLE SCHOLARSHIP FUND This fund will provide scholarship assistance to graduating seniors of Princeton Senior High School who plan to major in Nursing and attend any college or university in WV. THE BILL AND JUANITA MARRS ENDOWMENT FUND FOR THE TWO VIRGINIAS To provide scholarship assistance for graduating seniors of high schools in McDowell County, WV and Tazewell County, VA, or to provide financial assistance to non-profit community organizations in McDowell County, WV and Tazewell County, VA. THE MARY ELLEN AND RALPH MCCUE SCHOLARSHIP FUND This fund was established to provide scholarship assistance to graduating seniors at Bluefield High School who plan to attend Virginia Tech or Bluefield University. THE MARSHA A. MEAD, PHD. SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT Established in honor and memory of Dr. Mead; this fund provides scholarship assistance to psychology majors of Bluefield University who are rising juniors as recommended by the psychology faculty at Bluefield University.
