Cellular Phone Use
The use of cellular phones, tablets and other electronic devices during work hours can be disruptive and appear unprofessional. For these reasons, cell phones, tablets and other electronic devices should be stored in an inconspicuous, secured location and not used during working hours. If kept on your person, cell phones must be turned off (or on “silent”) and not be referenced in the presence of clients or in treatment / exam rooms. This means use of cellular phones, tablets and other electronic devices (for calling, texting or others forms of electronic communication or access of the internet or applications) shall be restricted to non-working times (before or after one’s scheduled shift or during meal or break periods) and non-working locations (parking lot, for example).
