(continued from page 21) Nine other alumni helped kick off the weekend by participating in Homecoming’s first ever Ram-2-Ram Alumni Career Seminar, which featured former students sharing advice with current students on how to prepare for life after college. The alumni — Donnie Bales (’10), Joshua Cline (’09), Emily Sears Cook (‘12), Jerry Frech (’10), Jeremy Hardy (’08), Celia Jones (’12), Christian Ruark (’10), Beth Tinsley (’12) and Rev. Brad Turner (’08) — spoke about what they enjoy most and least about their work, challenges on the job, internships, and Christianity in the workplace. Day one of Homecoming concluded with a BC Theatre presentation of The Three Musketeers , a women’s volleyball conference win over Union University, and a pep rally, featuring games, cornhole, s’mores, music by the Ram Band, the introduction of the Rams football team, motivational speeches and videos, and a first for Homecoming, a brilliant fireworks show, made possible by the Town of Bluefield.
