After high school I attended Concord College and Bluefield State College while working in the family business. I got married February 2,1979 to Karen Hoops, Class of ‘79, and we had four healthy children Jody 45, Stephanie 43, and twins Jennifer and Jessica 39. I eft the family business in 1984, and followed a career in real estate and construction. I got sober in 1982 through the fellowship of AA in Bluefield, very grateful. We moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2005 and currently reside there. We have five healthy grandchildren, Trinity 14 David 13, Talya 7, Mila 7, and Tres 6. We are enjoying semi - retirement, working on mastering the guitar, traveling, and concerts (just saw Ringo). We have attended all the Class Reunions and are looking forward to the 50 th .
