CLUB: Brushy Mountain Club President 2004,2008,2018 & 2020-21; Club Vice President 2003, 2007,2017,2019 and 2023; Club Secretary 1999 and 2013-16; Club Director; Chairman of the Citizenship & Patriotism, the Social Development Committees; have served on the Scholarship Committee and served as Chairman of the Brushy Mountain Apple Festival; Have been Ruritan of the Year DISTRICT : Piedmont District Governor 2002 and 2023; Piedmont District Lt. Governor 2001 and 2022; Piedmont District Growth & Development Chari 2007 and 2010; Piedmont District Convention Program Chair 2012-13, 2015 and 2017; Zone Governor 2003-05, 2008 and 2016-18; Certified District Trainer. NATIONAL: Have attended 24 National Conventions; Served as the Registration & Credentials Chair and Co-Chair; Worked in the Registrations and Credentials several years; Served on the Publications Committee as a Non-Board Member; Have attended two Summer Leadership Conferences; I am a Ruritan Forever and a Tom Downing. EDUCATION: Graduated from Pitt Community College; Emergency Medical Technician. OCCUPATION: Worked for Lowes Companies for 28 years. OTHER: Attend the Bethany Baptist Church and served on the Missions Committee; Co-Organized Brushy Mountain Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary; Co-Organized the first Brushy Mountain Peach & Heritage Festival in 2019 and have served as Co-Chair for the festival since 2019; Have two sons Travis (Katie) and Jonathan (Chistina) and a grandson named Jarrett.
