DISTRICT: Lower West Virginia District Governor 2022 and 2023; Lower West Virginia District Lt. Governor 2020 and 2021; Lower West Virginia District Fundraising Chair 2010-12 and 2020-21; Zone Governor 2009-10, and 2017-21; Lt. Zone Governor 2013; Lower West Virginia District Convention Chair and Directory Chair. NATIONAL: Have attended several National Conventions, served as an ambassador and assisted with Voting at two National Conventions; and have attended two National Leadership Conferences; Received the Fran Award; Received the Gold Key Award; I am a Ruritan Forever and a Tom Downing. EDUCATION: Graduated Oakvale High School in Oakvale West Virginia; Graduated McLains Business College in Bluefield West Virginia. OCCUPATION: Currently working for the Mercer County Commission (in the County Clerk’s Office in Princeton West Virigina) since 2003. OTHER: I am a second generation Ruritan Member; Adjutant/ Paymaster Mountaineer Marine Corps League Det. #957 in Princeton West Virginia; received the Distinguish Citizen Award from the Marine Corps League Dept. of West Virginia; Former member of the Bluewell Lions Club in Bluewell West Virginia; Pianist to two congregations; Member of the Memorial Church of Christ in Princeton West Virginia; Enjoys music and attending concerts; I am also a avid dog lover having rescued several dogs and cats; the latest is a Yorkie Terrier “Grace Ann” who I adopted from an Animal Shelter.
