2022 Annual Report

THANK YOU TO OUR 2021 DONORS

The Community Foundation’s many donors make it possible for us to support dozens of nonprofit organizations and students in the New River Valley each year. Since awarding our first $500 grant in 1997, our donors have helped us to award over $7.5 million in grants and scholarships to benefit our community. Their passion and generosity are unrivaled, and we appreciate their continuous support of the Community Foundation’s mission and programs.

We maintain and grow our programs with the help of our sustainers. These donors contribute to endowed funds, to our grant and scholarship programs, and to our capacity building activities for nonprofit leaders. SUSTAINERS Sustainers: Gifts of $5,000 to $14,999

BENEFACTORS Gifts of $15,000 +

Our benefactors create lasting impact in our community by giving to an endowed fund, leaving a legacy through an estate gift, or underwriting a regional program sponsored by the Foundation. Their leadership and support is invaluable to us.
