Integrity Motivation Success Section 1B: Positive Behavioral Intervention & Support Program and Expectations Independence Middle School’s Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports Plan Section 1B: Positive Behavioral Intervention & Support Program and Expectations Independence Middle School’s Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports Plan Positive Behavorial Interventions and Supports is a pro-active process to develop a learning environment where students and teachers feel appreciated, safe, and respected. Reinforcers are used to assist faculty/staff in focusing on positive aspects of student behavior and to assist students in making the right choice. VENDING MACHINES The vending machines are turned off during breakfast and during lunch. Operation Schedule for Drink/Snack Machines ON: 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. 1:40 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. OFF: 6:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. 11:30 a.m. - 1:40 p.m. GLASS BOTTLES Drinks in glass containers are forbidden on school property.
