Putting the Parallelograms Together
6. Refold on the fold you made in step #1, leaving the corners you folded in step #5 inside the fold. 7. Push and fold the corner that makes a right an gle with the fold to the inside.
1. Notice that your parallelograms have one side that is a fold and 3 sides that are open. 2. Hold two of the parallelograms on the folded side. Notice that they resemble birds with the beak on the fold and wings that open at the cor ner diagonally across from the beak. 3. Place the beak of one bird between the wings of the other bird. 4. Notice that a small triangular section of the out side bird ’ s wings extends beyond the inside bird ’ s wings. Fold these triangles into the wings of the inside bird. 5. Connect all 8 of the parallelograms by repeat ing steps #3 and #4.
8. Now your figure should look like a parallelo gram. 9. Make a total of 8 of these parallelograms.
