Interdisciplinary Studies) and Mountain Empire College (Geographic Information Systems, GIS Certification). OCCUPATION: Employed with the City of Hopewell (VA) as the Geographic Information System (GIS) Manager; Former Law Enforcement Officer (14 years) and Senior Planner and Zoning Administrator (7 years) with 25+ years’ experience in Local Government. OTHER: Member of Crawford United Methodist Church, (Finance Committee & Audit Committee); Petersburg/Dinwiddie Crime Solvers Board Member (2004-Present); Dinwiddie Volunteer Rescue Squad, EMT-ST (1983-1990); Wife, Jody, and I have two wonderful children (Kelly, age 31, and proud graduate of William and Mary; and Scott, age 26, and proud graduate of Bridgewater College).
