Advent and Christmas

This uses the Rossetti text and Holst tune CRANHAM found in our United Methodist Hymnal. It does divide the altos and the tenors so do not consider this anthem if you do not have multiple people singing those parts. The descant can be eliminated on stanza four if you are short of sopranos. Text by Mary Louise Bringle, tune TEMPLE OF PEACE by William P. Rowan, arranged by David M. Reviewed by Robert Anderson. This is a very easily learned anthem that can be learned in a fifteen-minute rehearsal just prior to worship.
