This is an exciting setting of Psalm 100 which uses multiple rhythms, 3/4, 2/4, 5/4, 3/2 throughout. This piece will require practice for accuracy of rhythms but will be worth the choir’s effort.

Oh Lord, Have Mercy (Let Us Break Bread Together)

This uses the familiar text and tune of the Spiritual but in a new and exciting way with a wide range of dynamic levels. As written, it does require four-part voices with multiple singers in each part since the middle section has a soloist from each part while the four part choir also sings an accompaniment, although all the solos could be sung by a tenor or soprano if you lack singers in the other parts. An organist/pianist can easily play the voice parts if the choir has difficulty maintaining pitch when singing a cappella. This anthem does require some rehearsing
