You must get advance approval from your Department Manager and the Human Resources Manager. Any employee who is found to be working at another job while on a leave of absence, medical lea ve, Worker’s Compensation or leave approved under the FMLA will be terminated. Employees off work over one year will lose length of service and must re apply for employment, unless the leave is covered under the military leave policy.

Employees who wish to take time off due to the death of an immediate family member should notify their supervisor immediately. YANFENG regular full-time employees are eligible for Bereavement Leave (up to three workdays ending on the day after the funeral) on the first day of employment: Bereavement pay is calculated on the base pay rate at the time of absence and will not include any special forms of compensation, such as incentives, bonuses, or shift differentials. Pay for 8 hours bereavement leave is not considered as time worked for the purpose of computing overtime.
