Bring a chair and enjoy the festivities each month. One of the YadkinValley wineries is featured at each event. 124W. Downtown Elkin offers a family friendly light up event, carriage rides and a visit with Santa, along with regional music and dancing throughout Main Street. One block up, a beautiful event at the Foothills Arts Council supplies a variety of artists booths, holiday crafts and gifts, live music, beer/wine, firepit, food trucks, and more. Downtown Elkin (Main Street) and Foothills Arts Coun- cil (Church St) Hours: Typically the first Friday in December for both events. On Saturday, the arts council is open for shop- ping for gifts, or gallery viewings as well.
