• Objective: • Learn to add TOC, LOF, and LOT to a report.

• TOC, LOF and LOT are set through the BookmarkCategory property • Special pre-existing subreports are used to create the TOC, LOF and LOT • Exercise: Create “EX.17 Component Hierarchy Diagram Report with TOC” • Duplicate report “EX.15 Component Hierarchy Diagram Report” and title it: “EX.17 Component Hierarchy Diagram Report with TOC” • Report will output: • The Component Hierarchy Diagram Report and a Table of Contents, and List of Figures. • Note: List of Tables is created the same way as the TOC and LOF the exercise will create but is omitted for clarity

Report Preparation We need to modify our report before we add in a TOC and LOF 1. Make whitespace in “detailBand1” 2. Move the “enhancedLabelControl” (Project) label up to “detailBand1” 3. Insert Page Break control below moved “enhancedLabelControl6” 4. Collapse white space in “detailBand2”
