This is an easily learned four-part anthem of thanksgiving using the American folk tune of SIMPLE GIFTS that can be sung at any time of the year – not just at the national holiday time of Thanksgiving.

This is a wonderful arrangement of Twila Paris words and music of familiar “He is Exalted” and Rowland Prichard’s text “Praise the Lord! Ye Heavens Adore Him” and the tune HYFRYDOL. Sections of the anthem are for unison voices; others are for two-part mixed voices while others are for four-part voices. Consider adding this to your church choral library.
